When I was a little boy, I used to sit around the kitchen table with my father, uncles and any other hunting buddies of his and listen to hunting tales. Always mixed in were little tidbits of information about things that made someone's hunt easier or safer. Perhaps they talked about how to care for their rifle or sight it in at the gravel pit. I remember once hearing about a better way to field dress a deer. These are all little things that can help us all become better hunters.

Below is a list of hunting tips sent to us by our readers. We are always looking for tips and we want yours. Find out how easy it is to send them to us. We'll publish them here along with your name.
